Flames, Stars look to end losing skids

The Calgary Flames visit the Dallas Stars in a clash of teams looking to end short losing skids on Wednesday (8:30 pm ET, KDFI (HD), TSN).
NHL Hockey Odds at Sportingbet have the Flames as 105-moneyline favorites and the over/under total at 5½.
Dallas has the edge over the past 10 head-to-head, going 6-3-0-1 in the past 10 meetings. The teams last squared off on Oct. 9, when the Stars won 5-2 in Calgary. The last time the teams met in Dallas was April 2 last season, when Calgary won 2-1.
In their last game, the Flames lost 3-1 to the Detroit Red Wings, as -135 favorites at home. Daymond Langkow scored the lone goal, and Miikka Kiprusoff made 27 saves in the loss.
And the Stars were doubled 4-2 by the Nashville Predators last time out, as +105 underdogs. Steve Ott and Brian Sutherby scored for the Stars, while Alex Auld stopped 29 shots in the loss.
Calgary (7-4-1) has lost two straight games. Dallas (Dallas: 6-3-5) also has lost two straight games.
