Blues visit Blackhawks in Central division clash

The St. Louis Blues take on Central-division rival Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday at the United Center.
Hockey Betting Odds at Sportingbet have the Blackhawks as -240 moneyline favorites and the over/under total at 5.5.
St. Louis and Chicago have identical records (5-3-0-2) over the past 10 head-to-head matchups. Six of the past 10 have gone over the total.
This is the first meeting of the season between the division rivals. The Blackhawks won 3-1 the last time the teams squared off on April 1 last season, as -145 home favorites. The score went under the total of 5.5.
In their last game Tuesday night, the Blues’ T.J. Oshie potted the winning goal late in the third period to lift St. Louis past the Calgary Flames. St. Louis won as -115 home favorites and the score went over the 5-goal total.
The Blackhawks defeated the Tampa Bay Lightening 4-0 as a -240 favorite on Sunday. The four goals scored fell under the total of 5.5.
Antti Niemi stopped all 18 shots he faced for Chicago, while Marian Hossa had a goal and an assist in the win.
St. Louis is 14-12-5 and in fifth place in the Central with 33 points. Chicago is 20-8-3 and in first place in the Central with 43 points.
St. Louis is 5-1 SU in its last six games on the road and Chicago is 10-1 SU in its last 11 games at home.
