Carolina Hurricanes face new-look Calgary Flames

The Carolina Hurricanes continue a Western road trip with a game against the new-look Calgary Flames on Wednesday, their first stopĀ in the Alberta city in more than three years (9 pm ET, Fox Sports)
NHL Betting has the Flames as a -170 moneyline favorite and the over/under total at 5.5.
Carolina is 6-4 over the past 10 meetings. The hurricanes blew out the Flames 6-1 the last time they met on March 6 last season. Carolina was a -120 home favorite and the score went over the total of 5.5.
The total has gone over in seven of the past seven meetings overall, and in four of the past six in Calgary.
On Monday, Jussi Jokinen and Andrew Alberts scored for Carolina in its 4-2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers. Edmonton cashed as +130 home underdogs and the score went over the 5.5-goal total.
Miikka Kiprusoff made 24 saves in the Flames’ 3-0 loss to the visiting Philadelphia Flyers on Monday night. Philadelphia won as +105 road underdogs and the score went under the 5.5-goal total.
Carolina is 19-29-7 this season and Calgary is 27-21-8.
