Boston Bruins vs. Philadelphia Flyers (8:00 pm ET, Versus)

The Boston Bruins would love to win Game 6 and seal the 7 match series against the Philadelphia Flyers (8:00 pm ET, Versus) on Wednesday at Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On the other hand, Flyers would like to level the series. Boston leads the series 3-2.

Flyers 4-0 win against Boston in Game 5 must have had an impact on the Bruins’ mind. With two straight game losses, Flyers have found the lost momentum and these back to back win have shot up their confidence levels. The Bruins once held a dominating 3-0 lead but are a bit bogged down. Simon Gagne, Flyers forward is confident of winning the series even though they were down by 3-0 in the series

Brian Boucher was injured in Game 5 until then he was riding a hot streak into the postseason. He sprained his left knee and could miss up to a month. Michael Leighton will have another shot at the top job. Leighton was forced to watch games from the press box as he was injured earlier.

As per Bruins forward Blake Wheeler, he feels that his team did not test Leighton much and the team was out of sync. Laviolette on his Game 5 was 2 for 2.

“The better way to word it last night was, do you think we can beat the Boston Bruins tonight? We kept it that simple. There was a belief that we could,” Laviolette said.
